Matri Puja & Utsarga Samaroh Celebration

Matri Puja & Utsarga Samaroh Celebration were held on 30th January,2025. Matri Puja and Utsarga Samaroh were conducted for Class X & XII students.

Matri Puja was a heartfelt tribute to mothers, echoing the sacred phrase "Matri Devo Bhava".

Students of X performed the poignant ritual of washing their mothers' feet, offering respect and gratitude.

Utsarga Samaroh rituals were done by outgoing batch of XII where the students lighted diyas and placed them on a map of Bharat Mata, symbolizing their commitment to Bharat Mata.

76th Republic Day

REPUBLIC DAY:76th Republic Day was celebrated in the school with patriotic zeal on 26th January. The tricolour was unfurled at 7:30 a.m. followed by an inspiring speech by Principal sir. A patriotic song was presented by a group of students. Few poem recitations, creative dance and musical performance were presented by students offering a tribute to the sacrifices of our Shahids. The programme ended with light refreshment distribution among parents, students and staff of the Vidyalaya.

UKAA GOLAGHAT DISTRICT KARATE CHAMPIONSHIP

 Achievements at UKAA GOLAGHAT DISTRICT KARATE CHAMPIONSHIP held on 18th-19th January, 2025.

PARAKRAM DIVAS QUIZ COMPETITION

 PARAKRAM DIVAS QUIZ COMPETITION ACHIEVEMENT:

Students of VKV Golaghat bagged 1st ,2nd & 3rd spots among 100 students in an Inter School Quiz Competition organised by PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya, Golaghat an initiative by Ministry of Education,Govt.of India on the occasion of 'Parakram Divas' (Birth Anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose) on 23rd January, 2025.

KIO INTER ZONE KARATE CHAMPIONSHIP

Hrishita Kashyap of XI(Sc.) participated in JUNIOR INDIVIDUAL KATA and JUNIOR FEMALE -59 KG KUMITE EVENTS in the KIO INTER ZONE KARATE CHAMPIONSHIP 2024 held in December, 2024 in New Delhi.

Sub-Junior National Table Tennis Championship

Iris Arna Rajkhowa of Grade IV is selected to represent Assam in U 11 event by Assam Table Tennis Association in the upcoming Sub-Junior National Table Tennis Championship to be held in Indore, Madhya Pradesh from 30th January, 2025

All India Karate Championship

 

Hiyashvi Sonowal of Class III represented the Assam team & won a Bronze Medal in 8yrs Girls event in the KIO Sub -junior All India Karate Championship held at Talkatora Indoor Stadium,New Delhi from 14 -15 Dec 2024.
