DEVOGRAM CUP 1st All Assam State Open Karate Championship - 2025 Organized by : The Shotokan Sports Karate Do Federation (SSKF) Assam held on 19th-20th July 2025 at Bapuji Mandir,Dergaon. 1.Kiyansh Borthakur (I) won Bronze medal in the sub junior category (age 7 years weight - less than 25 kg) in Kata & Kumite. 2.Chao Frasengmung Boruah (I) won Bronze medal in the sub junior category (age 7 years weight - plus 25 kg) in Kumite. 3.Viaan Reet Konwar (BV III) won Gold in Kata and Bronze in Kumite (age 6 yrs category). 4.Aadya Bordoloi (I) won Bronze medal in the sub junior category (age under 7 years )in Kumite.

1)Aashriya Baruah( VI) achieved Gold medal in Kumite U 11 years Girls 35kg in which was held on 3-4th May 2025, at Mariani, Jorhat. 2)Kuwoli Phukon ( VI ) achieved Silver medal in U 10 years Girls in kumite at the same event. 3)Shreyansh Sonowal (I) has got bronze medal in Kata and Kumite (both the events) in 6 years male. 4)Hiyashvi Sonowal of (IV ) has got gold medal in Kumite (event) in 9 yrs female category. Hiyashvi Sonowal will also represent the Assam team in the upcoming KIO Sub junior National Karate Championships to be held at Dehradun.

WORKSHOP SHOP ON TLM

On 10th May, 2025 a TLM workshop for the teachers is held at VKV Golaghat . The program was started with the mangalacharan.Vice Principal Sir talked about the purpose of the program.About 130 TLM s are prepared and displayed by the teachers. After supervising , the Academic Supervisors provided their positive and valuable feedback. They appreciated the teachers for completing such workable and beautiful TLM s within a short period of time. The TLMs prepared by the teachers like models,charts, interactive games and multimedia resources starting from Class Bal Vatika I to class XII. Few supervisors were appointed to supervise the TLMs to share their positive feedbacks. The teachers presented their own TLM creations stating their insights on effective teaching techniques. The programme ended with Shanti mantra.

All Assam Prize Money Table Tennis Championship 🏓 Iris Arna Rajkhowa (V) bagged Runner up trophies 🏆 along with a cash prize of 4 thousand rupees in both U 11 & U 13 Girls event in All Assam Prize Money TT Championship held in Titabar, Jorhat from 2nd -4th April, 2025. Arihant A Sarmah (VI) bagged 2nd Runner up trophy 🏆 along with a cash prize of 1500 rupees in U 11 Boys in the same event. Abhismita Baruah (X) bagged 2nd Runner Up trophy along with a cash prize of 1500 rupees in U 17 Girls in the same event. Congratulations 🎊

Matri Puja & Utsarga Samaroh Celebration

Matri Puja & Utsarga Samaroh Celebration were held on 30th January,2025. Matri Puja and Utsarga Samaroh were conducted for Class X & XII students.

Matri Puja was a heartfelt tribute to mothers, echoing the sacred phrase "Matri Devo Bhava".

Students of X performed the poignant ritual of washing their mothers' feet, offering respect and gratitude.

Utsarga Samaroh rituals were done by outgoing batch of XII where the students lighted diyas and placed them on a map of Bharat Mata, symbolizing their commitment to Bharat Mata.

76th Republic Day

REPUBLIC DAY:76th Republic Day was celebrated in the school with patriotic zeal on 26th January. The tricolour was unfurled at 7:30 a.m. followed by an inspiring speech by Principal sir. A patriotic song was presented by a group of students. Few poem recitations, creative dance and musical performance were presented by students offering a tribute to the sacrifices of our Shahids. The programme ended with light refreshment distribution among parents, students and staff of the Vidyalaya.
