VKV Golaghat bags Gold in Tennis
VKV Golaghat marks its achievement once again in Table Tennis at CBSE Cluster I East Zone Championship held in Itanagar,Arunachal Pradesh.

Syed Shabaz Farhan of Grade IV got 3rd position in All Assam Open Prize Money Rapid Chess Tournament organised by - Dibrugarh Chess Club.
Antariksh Tamuly , Grade XI(Sc.) brought laurels to school as he represented India in Bangladesh India Moitree cup Tennis Tournament 2023 and he along with his team India has won gold medel in under 18 category .This tournament was organized by Bangladesh Tennis Federation & IBSFF in DHAKA ,Bangladesh. Gandhi and Shastri Jayanti Celebrations: Janma divas of great leaders of India was celebrated at school.Various programmes marked the celebration today. Shramdan by students within the school campus, Inter house mono act competition on the theme Freedom Fighters, Speech on Gandhiji & Shashtriji by students and teacher along with few inspirational anecdotes from their lives were shared by Principal sir followed by Shramdan by teachers in their respective Staff Rooms and Labs were the highlights of the day.

Shankardev Tithi is observed today at VKV Golaghat by teachers.Diha naam,Kirtan Path,Satriya Dance,Speech Deliberation etc. were conducted by teachers followed by Prasad Distribution.
Students expressed their love and gratitude on 5th September on the occasion of Teachers' Day Celebration where they put up a colourful cultural fiesta and offered respect to Sarva palli Radhakrishnan on his 135th Janma Jayanti. Two retired teachers from Golaghat were felicitated and honored on the occasion by VKV Golaghat.
CBSE Capacity Building Programme was held at the school auditorium on 8-9th September where 60 teachers attended the event. Mr U.C Har bola, Principal,DPS Numaligarh was resource person for the training programme.
Universal Brotherhood Day was celebrated yesterday on 11 September to mark epoch making speech of Swami Vivekananda on World Parliament of Religions in 1893 where Swamiji spread the message of tolerance, unity and brotherhood. Shri Bedabrat Bora,Asstt. Professor, East Karbianglong College was the speaker and Guest of Honour on the occasion. Many parents and noted people of Golaghat graced the occasion as audience.

Iris Arna Rajkhowa of Grade III bagged 1st position in Golaghat district Table Tennis(U-11)Girls Competition organised by District Sports Office on National Sports Day on 29th August.
