National Mathematics Day was observed at VKV Golaghat in association with Assam Academy of Mathematics on 22nd December. Winners of 'Ganit Utkarxa Xadhon Porikha' were awarded with prizes. Children from class I to V were engaged in many mathematical activities on 23rd December as part of the celebration.

29th & 30th November, 2024: Cluster Level Krida Mahotsav (Cluster 4) was held at VKV Golaghat.7 schools participated in this 2 day long Mahotsav.Students participated in various Outdoor & Indoor events.Sri Bimal Ch Gogoi, District Sports Officer was the Chief Guest in the opening ceremony. VKV Golaghat was adjudged as Best Sports School with highest number of gold medals.1st & 2nd position holders were selected to take part in Krida Mahotsav 2025 which will be held in VKV NEC Baragolai.

 AAVP Achievement: (Science Investigatory Project)

VKSPV organises Inter-VKV "Aryabhatta Anusandhanatmak Vijnan Prakalpa ", a science exploration and investigation project for all the VKV s situated in Assam and Nagaland every year.

This year the competition was held on 22nd and 23rd November at VKV, Nalbari. There were total 44 projects presentation. VKV Golaghat brought laurels by bagging Proficiency award(1st) in Junior category on the project titled -" Making ink from Coffee extract ".

The school also achieved the Second Runner's-up as team spirit award to the school.

Children's Day was celebrated with enthusiasm on 14th November at the school. Principal, Shri Lakhi Narayan Goswami sir addressed the children sharing inspiring stories and spoke on the significance of the day. The programme was held for primary and secondary/Sr.secondary separately. There were colourful programmes put up by primary children. The teachers put up a cultural programme for the secondary children comprising of poem recitation, speech,choir songs,creative dance, stand up comedy etc. Thereafter, football matches for girls and boys between grade IX & XI were held
