Robin Banerjee Janma Jayanti
VKV Golaghat along with Padmashree Dr Robin Banerjee Museum Trust celebrated 116th Robin Banerjee Jayanti on 12th August in a pious manner.
Sri Sanjay Das, noted wildlife photographer and environmentalist and Sri Dilip Kumar Pangging, wildlife photographer were the guests on the occasion. Smt Shovarani Sarma Barkataky, Secretary VKSPV and Sri Prakhyat Duwarah, Chairman VMC were also present.
Sri Sanjay Das interacted with students on various facets of wildlife photography. The presentation was based on some of his award-winning photographs. A photo exhibition by Sri Dilip Kumar Panging was also organised at the meuseum on the occasion.
Inter-house Quiz Competition was organised for the students in the morning after assembly.
An Inter House Photography Competition was also organised in connection to the event. Winners were awarded with trophies. The programme was attended by around 300 students and few other noted people of Golaghat. The event ended with light refreshment distribution among students.
