VKV Golaghat along with Vivekananda Kendra celebrated today Universal Brotherhood Day , the day to celebrate Swami Vivekananda's epoch making Chicago Speech on tolerance, unity and brotherhood at World Parliament of Religions on 11 September,1893. Principal, Achintya Goswami Sir spoke at length the underlying message of celebrating the day sharing anecdotes from Swami Vivekananda's life. There was also speech presentation by teacher,group song and Chicago Address by student. An Inter House Elocution Competition was organised among students. The day ended with ' Swadhyay Varga' among teachers reflecting upon Eknathji's book Sadhana of Service.

136th Birth Anniversary of Dr. Sarvepelli Radhakrishnan ,i.e. Teachers' Day celebrated at the school with enthusiasm and joy.Students of VKV Golaghat celebrated Teachers' day expressing their affection and reverence to the teachers. The Students of class X & XII have put up a pandora of colourful show comprising of a speech, Poetry recitation, Orchestra performance, Bihu dance, Classical dance, a skit , beautiful songs , fusion dance etc.

VKV Golaghat felicitated and honoured two retired teachers Smt. Padma Bora & Smt. Shyamoli Goswami for their contribution in the field of teaching,thus,in the greater goal of Man making & Nation Building. The celebration ended with refreshment distribution among the teachers and the outgoing batch of X & XII.

 অসমৰ বিভিন্ন শিক্ষানুষ্ঠানৰ লগতে গোলাঘাটৰ বিবেকানন্দ কেন্দ্ৰ বিদ্যালয়তো আজি পৰম্পৰাগত ভাবে শ্ৰীশ্ৰী শংকৰদেৱৰ তিৰোভাৱ তিথি উদযাপন কৰা হয়। অসমীয়া সামাজিক পৰম্পৰা অনুসৰি মহাপুৰুষ শ্ৰীমন্ত শঙ্কৰদেৱৰ আপুৰুগীয়া সৃষ্টি কীৰ্তন ঘোষা পাঠেৰে এই অনুষ্ঠানৰ শুভাৰম্ভণি ঘটে। অষ্টম মান শ্ৰেণীৰ ছাত্ৰৰ দ্বাৰা কীৰ্তন ঘোষা পাঠ কৰাই ছাত্ৰ- ছাত্ৰীসকলৰ সন্মুখত এক বিশেষ দৃষ্টান্ত দাঙি ধৰা হয়। এই অনুষ্ঠানৰ পৰবৰ্তী কাৰ্যসূচী আছিল বিদ্যালয়ৰ ছাত্ৰ-ছাত্ৰীসকলৰ দ্বাৰা বৰগীত পৰিবেশন। ইয়াৰ পিছতেই শংকৰী সংস্কৃতিৰ অন্যতম অংশ গায়ন-বায়ন প্ৰদৰ্শন কৰে বিদ্যালয়ৰ একাংশ ছাত্ৰই। গায়ন-বায়নৰ পিছতেই সত্ৰীয়া নৃত্যৰ অংশ স্বৰূপ ৰজাঘৰীয়া চালি নাচ প্ৰদৰ্শন কৰে নিৰ্বাচিত ছাত্ৰী বৃন্দই। এই অনুষ্ঠানৰ অন্য এক আকৰ্ষণ আছিল আন্ত: দলীয় ভিত্তিত আয়োজন কৰা দিহানাম প্ৰতিযোগিতা। এই প্ৰতিযোগিতাত মুখ্য বিচাৰক ৰূপে আসন শুৱনি কৰে গোলাঘাটৰ প্ৰয়াস একাডেমীৰ অসমীয়া বিভাগৰ প্ৰবক্তা জিতু বৰপূজাৰী ডাঙৰীয়াই। প্ৰতিযোগিতাৰ অন্তত প্ৰতিযোগীসকলৰ বিভিন্ন দিশ আঙুলিয়াই তেখেতে এটি সুন্দৰ বক্তব্য দাঙি ধৰে । এই অনুষ্ঠানত বিদ্যালয়ৰ গণিত বিষয়ৰ শিক্ষক শ্ৰী প্ৰাঞ্জল হাজৰিকা মহোদয়ে ছাত্ৰ -ছাত্ৰীৰ উপযোগী কৈ এটি সাৰুৱা বক্তৃতা প্ৰদান কৰে। অনুষ্ঠানৰ সামৰণিত গুৰু জনাই উদ্ভাৱন কৰা পৰম্পৰাগত প্ৰসাদ বিতৰণ কৰা হয়।

much enthusiasm and joy .Students from Class Balvatika 1 to Class V, participated in a cultural function, which was a kaleidoscope of colours, with a presentation of bhajans, dances and a dance drama, based on the birth and childhood of Lord Krishna.The children participated wholeheartedly , with a lot of cooperation from the parents. Raksha Bandhan

Raksha Bandhan a beautiful tradition of Sanatan dharma celebrated on Purnima in the holy month of Saavan to cherish the eternal bond of brother and sister. VKV Golaghat celebrated Raksha Bandhan at school on 19th August, 2024.There was a cultural programme comprising of songs,dances ,poem recitation and speech followed by Rakhi tying ceremony. Few group of students were sent to SBI, IDBI Bank of Baroda where they performed Rakhi tying ceremony. The helping staff of the school also tied Rakhi to the office staff. The programme was attended by Balvatika I to Grade VIII students.
