The birth anniversary of PadmaShri Dr. Robin Banerjee was celebrated in the VKV school premises. The celebration programme started with the tribute paying by the teachers at Robin Banerjee Museum.
Following these, some other programmes were held in the school auditorium which started with lighting of Dia by Mrs. Giti Baishya, a welcome song by the students followed by a speech by Samhita Chanda.
This was further followed by a poem recitation by Bistirna Kumari followed by an Inter House PowerPoint presentation competition on the theme of Conservation of Wildlife with co-relation to Uncle Robin Banerjee's contribution to wildlife.
The programme came to an end with the showing of Dr. Robin Banerjee 's documentary "The Pacific Ocean"
